Limited Edition 2023
The Limited Edition format enables young Hamburg choreographers to develop first works of their own. For this, they rehearse in the K3 studios and present their productions together over the course of two evenings in June on Kampnagel’s stages. This year, we will be showing works by Anand Dhanakoti, Monique Smith-McDowell and the collective Die Antwort. Anand Dhanakoti studied at the Contemporary Dance School Hamburg and trained in ballet, martial arts and yoga in India. Monique Smith-McDowell was trained in contemporary dance in London and works in Hamburg as a musical performer, choreographer and audio describer. The collective Die Antwort is part of the Hamburg hip hop scene and organizes, among other things, the annual Spring Battle at the Thalia Theater
