PROBEBÜHNE EINS

Normally, rehearsals and choreographing take place behind closed doors and the audience only gets to see the finished pieces. In the format Probebühne Eins, things are different. Here, the studio doors are opened and the rehearsals are brought on stage. Dance fans have the exclusive opportunity to catch a glimpse of how dance productions are created. The Hamburg choreographers show excerpts from productions in progress and try out their ideas in front of an audience. The current K3 choreographers in residence Maria Mercedes Flores Mujica, Robert Ssemijja and Constantin Trommlitz will also give an insight into their research. Afterwards, everyone is invited to talk to each other and the choreographers in a relaxed atmosphere over wine and water.
