Focus on dance for young audiences
From late May through to mid-June, our programme for young audiences intensifies and spreads across the city like sparks from a firework. As well as our travelling Pop Up productions for schools, during this time we are also opening up the programme to daycare centres and very young children with the stage production KASCHKASCH (ages 2+) and the mobile production Ritournelles.(ages 3+). We also offer educators a professional development course on early childhood cultural education with a focus on dance, led by choreographer Lucia Glass. Young people aged 12 and over can experience the impressive lecture performance Nowhere is a place by Anne-Marie Van, also known as Nach, at Kampnagel.
To celebrate the first edition of the Hamburg Dance Triennial, K3 will be featured in the programme alongside the explore dance network – Network for Dance for Young Audiences. From 14 to 21 June 2026, dance in Hamburg will be showcased in all its facets, including its role in everyday life, particularly in schools. During this week, the energetic Pop Ups Tie Break (11+) and WUW – Wind und Wand (10+) will tour schools. Whether at the theatre or at your school:
We look forward to your visit.
