The training focuses on contemporary dance technique, specially floor work, with the purpose of applying the sensations harvested from the floor into a vertical standing position. The beginning of the class focuses on amplifying the range of motion of all the body’s articulations, and offers a playful way of working on strength and flexibility. Then the class shifts to acknowledging and directing the breath to connect it with the movement of the body itself and thus to create a continuous flow.

Alan Fuentes Guerra

The Berlin-based dancer and teacher Alan Fuentes Guerra studied at SEAD (AU) and EPDM (MX). After the post-graduate program BODHI Project, he performed for choreographers such as Marion Sparber, Ralf Jarochinsky, Christine Gouzelis, Sita Ostheimer, Etienne Gilloteau, Cecilia Lugo and Miguel Mancillas. Alan has been teaching his training espaciocontinuo in schools and festivals all around the world.
