Nicola Mascia’s class is a guided improvisational movement research — designed to awaken and stimulate a higher level of sensorial awareness. Experiencing to be in touch: physically and energetically, with oneself, with a partner and within the group. Corporeal weight and physical forces will be activated to reach and overcome exhaustion, build stamina, master endurance and the technique of Contact.

Nicola Mascia

is internationally active as a performer and choreographer. He collaborated with Sasha Waltz & Guests, Emio Greco/PC, Benoît Lachambre, Constanza Macras, Jeremy Wade, Meg Stuart, Yasmeen Godder and others. He also works as rehearsal director and teacher and founded the duo matanicola with Matan Zamir.
