EXPERIENTIAL ANATOMY: VAGUS TRAINING
A one-time accreditation is required for participation in the professional training. The Accreditation allows you to purchase tickets for the professional training. Click here for the accreditation form.
This training stimulates the inner perception of the autonomic nervous system (especially the parasympathetic Vagus nerve) through touch and movement. It is based on the method of Myoreflex therapy and Stephen Porges' polyvagal theory. Each unit combines anatomical knowledge with specific exercises (e.g. breath and voice work, eye movements, pressure point stimulation of specific muscle chains). Poetic images and somatic movement explorations invite integration into one's own dance and movement practice.
