Starting with body conditioning through yoga and movement practice, the class goes into playing with momentum, suspension and dynamic floor routines. Floor exploration with antigravity falls, recovery, agile partnering and strength-based technique allows participants to discover organic body rhythms and floor connections. Body toning and martial arts exercises ensure a high energy level throughout the class. The class also delves into Flying Low technique, using simple movement patterns, breath, speed, and release of energy in order to activate the relationship between centre and joints and to move in and out of the ground efficiently.
Narenda Patil
Besides dance, he studied Okinawa martial arts and yoga. He worked with the Terence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company and co-founded the Sanskar Global Platform for Performing Arts. He is the first Indian contemporary dancer who studied Flying Low and Passing Through under David Zambrano.
