The Weissmann technique is a structured, holistic contemporary technique with roots in modern dance. Yoga poses move into longer technical combinations, exploring weight, volume, connections, transitions and space. Musicality is a key component in this training. The class taps into a wide range of movement qualities and challenges the dancer to move through space with clarity and abandonment.

ATTENTION: On Monday and Tuesday the training will take place in a different room on Kampnagel site due to construction works. We will guide you there.

Heidi Weiss

is a performer, choreographer and teacher. She studied at the University of the Arts and graduated with a BFA in modern dance. She was a professor at the Palucca Schule Dresden 2004-2007 and has been working as a freelance artist in the EU and abroad since 2008. She developed her own dance technique together with Jennifer Mann and started a teacher training program in 2023. In 2023 she returned as Guest Professor to Folkwang University.
