Classism refers to discrimination based on class origin or class membership and limits access to housing, educational attainment, health care, power, participation, recognition, and money.
This workshop provides an introduction to the often forgotten form of discrimination known as classism. It encourages people to recognize and question their own class position and learned classist thought patterns. How does classism manifest itself concretely in the cultural field?

Francis Seeck
Francis Seeck is a political educator, author and gender researcher.
She currently teaches as a substitute professor for social work science at the University of Applied Sciences Neubrandenburg.

Verena Brakonier
She worked with Antje Pfundtner, Trajal Harrell, Jonas Woltemate,and others. In 2013, she received a danceWEB scholarship and a Grant for Young Talents from the City of Hamburg. She is as well a bodywork practitioner of the Grinberg Method and lives in Berlin.
