#CLASSMATTERS. CLASSICISM IN THE ART AND CULTURE INDUSTRY

Classism refers to discrimination based on class origin or class membership and limits access to housing, educational attainment, health care, power, participation, recognition, and money.

This workshop provides an introduction to the often forgotten form of discrimination known as classism. It encourages people to recognize and question their own class position and learned classist thought patterns. How does classism manifest itself concretely in the cultural field?
