BLUE MARBLE
When astronauts travel into space and see first hand the reality of the whole Earth from afar, they frequently experience a type of phenomena described as the 'overview effect'. The perspective of our tiny 'blue marble' fragilely hanging in the void becomes a launching point for a performance that reflects on our world from a long distance viewpoint.Part science-fiction part archetype, BLUE MARBLE paints a voyage where two people tap into a field of persistence that relentlessly circulates physical and vocal information. sing this as both feedback and fuel, elevated glimpses are created that challenge how we perceive community and autonomy in both intimate and global ways.
A ticket to this performance also involves reduced price of the workshop fee for ITERATIONSby Litó Walkey.
