Giorgia Nardin

She has participated in numerous EU projects such as e.g. ChoreoRoam Europe, B Project, Performing Gender and Communicating Dance. Her duet All dressed up with nowhere to go was selected for the Aerowaves 2015 “Priority Companies” list. During her K3 residency, she will be exploring the quest for lust and direct physical gratification as exemplified in pornography with its immanent tendency towards selfishness and loneliness. She will be examining the largely predictable structure and patterns of repetition underlying pornography and question the ways in which impressions of lust and satisfaction can be evoked in the spectator. Her goal is not to emulate pornography, but rather reveal its inherent patterns, allow space for questions and associations.
