ZEITGENÖSSISCHER TANZ IM DIGITALEN – DER RAUM ZWISCHEN UNS

+online+online+online+online+online+online

What is intimacy? Especially now? This question serves as the starting point for collective research on ways to engage with each other despite being in separate spaces. Writing, moving, listening, observing: The course will work with the format of video conferencing as a means of establishing contact with one another. In playful ways we will explore the technical possibilities as well as how we can be alone and together at the same time. At the end of the course, we will open the video conference to interested visitors and share in an encounter training session together.

The course draws on Jenny Beyer's experiences from prior open studios, where she has been exploring ways to bring dance and audience closer together since 2014. Against the backdrop of the pandemic, digital open studios were held this summer in collaboration with students of the MA Contemporary Dance Education/Frankfurt.
