DANCE IN SCHOOL – FEEDBACK, MVLY & BODYPERCUSSION

Our training series for teachers is entering its next round! For anyone who wants to deepen their initial experiences and work specifically with dance in schools, three local choreographers with experience in the school context offer an action-oriented and practical insight into their artistic work.

Lucia Glass teaches the basics of designing creative and somatically based movement activities with children aged 5-15 using the card set she developed, MVLY—Discovering Movement with Children. (Note: The card set is not included in the workshop price but can be purchased separately.)

Dancer and performer Sarah Lasaki was part of the percussion band Stomp. She conveys her knowledge of rhythm, group dynamics, and team spirit through body percussion.

Gitta Barthel, a dance teacher with many years of experience, frames the training and supplements feedback methods to discuss what has been seen or to practice creative and constructive exchange in the development process.

The choreographers present their artistic practices on two to three dates, linking them to choreographic methods and working with the participants to create connections, e.g., to curricular topics, in order to integrate contemporary dance into the classroom.

No prior knowledge required | Only available as a complete series | One ticket is valid for the entire training series and must be presented at the first session | Please wear comfortable training clothes | Registration via the K3 website
