Dance Well
DANCE WELL CLUB
Dance Well is a regular dance program at K3 that invites everyone to experience their own body's individual mobility—with or without Parkinson's, at any age, with or without previous experience. The focus is on the joy of movement, dancing together, and experiencing well-being through music and rhythm.
As part of Theater Night, Dance Well is opening its club to the whole family: a short, open session will provide an insight into the format that usually takes place weekly at K3. Influences from urban and contemporary dance styles such as popping and improvisation are incorporated. Physical characteristics are integrated in an appreciative manner and used as potential for new possibilities of movement.
Dance Well is aimed explicitly at people living with Parkinson's, as well as their families, friends, and caregivers—and, of course, anyone else who feels like dancing together.

Dance Well
Dance Well was created at K3 in 2022 as part of a unique EU-wide practical and research project focusing on dance and Parkinson's disease. With scientific support from Fondazione Fitzcarraldo and Fondazione Università Ca' Foscarin, six European dance centers introduced dance programs for people with and without Parkinson's disease, which will run until 2025. K3 established a weekly club and open monthly dance classes, which will continue. In January 2025, participants from the club had the opportunity to take part in a stage production (Yolanda Morales Rhythm of Our Lives) for the first time.
