Theatre Night

Simone Juul Wennerberg

GRIND (14+)

As part of the Spring Break Residency, Danish-Norwegian choreographer and performer Simone Juul Wennerberg developed the first ideas for her project GRIND (14+) at K3. The starting point is an exploration of people who are “on the grind”—bodies that work hard, both physically and emotionally. Wennerberg wants to reclaim these bodies as spaces for pleasure, autonomy, and care.

The project is being developed in collaboration with composer Jonas Kongpetsak Pedersen and co-choreographer and dancer Elle Burgess. Following the showing of the short-term residency, , Wennerberg is now continuing to work on GRIND (14+) and developing the piece further.
