WO DER TEPPICH STAUB FÄNGT (12+)
Wo der Teppich Staub fängt (Where the carpet catches dust) adresses the fragile concept of home, which is constantly changing depending on society and the environment. In this mobile Pop Up for young people aged 12 and over, Alexander Varekhine and his team explore different personal stories. They explore the themes of being at home, coming home and running away from home to find out what home can actually be.

Alexander Varekhine
After training as a dance pedagogue at the Erika-Klütz School in Hamburg, Alexander Varekhine trained as a stage dancer at the Contemporary Dance School Hamburg and in numerous workshops throughout Europe. He works as a freelance dancer, choreographer and dance teacher and is a member of The Current Dance Collective. Alexander also teaches contemporary dance to young people and has been invited to the Tanztreffen der Jugend several times with his group. He is a lecturer at the Erika Klütz School for Theatre Dance and Dance Pedagogy.
