Matthias Quabbe
DANCE WRITING QUARTERLY
The notes, which are sometimes recorded with concentration, sometimes in passing, reflect all the layers of the projects in which they are created. Outside this sphere, they hint at the trace of the ephemeral and develop their own choreography. They are mines from which material can be salvaged: jagged landscapes of thought processes that shimmer in the daylight and tell new stories far from their origins. In DWQ, Matthias Quabbe presents his research on the subject of notes and narratives, in which he views notes from work processes as loose threads of past and future stories.
This will be preceded by a writing and reading get-together in which we will discuss the practice of writing together. You can find more information about the workshop here.
