FLOORWORK TECHNIQUE

The class combines bodywork, open structures, floorwork principals and physical phrases through the space. The training starts with a detailed warm up going through all the layers of the body to explore the floor work technique. It then gradually develops the physical intensity and the complex movement structure within acrobatic elements. The main goal of the class is the constant flow of movement to establish a light body, awareness, rhythm and movement quality.

Michael Langeneckert

is a freelance choreographer and teacher living in Freiburg (DE). He creates projects in Freiburg, works internationally as a guest choreographer and teaches contemporary classes across Europe. In this season he will be guest professor at Folkwang University Essen.
