The class is based on hip hop while it also explores different styles like South Indian and Locking. It covers topics like Body Control and animation techniques like Popping, Waving, Gliding, Strobing, Tutting, Isolation and Glitching. The course will build a good foundation of these features that are not usually taught commercially in dance classes as they are part of a street style culture. The class is divided into a few sections: learning and understanding the techniques of basic breaking and other styles and applying all principles to the set material of a choreography.

Bivin Mathew

Bivin is an internationally renowned dancer with over 15 years of dance experience and is also known as a social media influencer. He worked in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for over five years before moving to Hamburg to study. The 31-year-old has been a successful participant in many dance competitions. Born in India, he has even appeared as a guest on the Indian reality show Dance Plus. Bivin is proficient in a wide range of dance styles, including hip-hop and popping & animation, locking and breakdancing, as well as Indian South Style, and passes on his diverse knowledge to enthusiastic dance students.
