PROBEBÜHNE EINS

Normally, rehearsals and choreography take place behind closed doors and the audience only gets to see the finished pieces. This is different with the workshop format Probebühne Eins. Here, the studio doors are opened and the rehearsals are brought on stage. Dance fans have the exclusive opportunity to catch a glimpse of the creation of contemporary dance productions. Hamburg choreographers show excerpts from productions in progress and try out their ideas in front of an audience. The current K3 resident choreographers Aloali'i Tapu, Eng Kai Er and the two choreographers Ingjerd Solheim and Tatiana Mejía will each give insights into their research. Afterwards, everyone is invited to talk to each other and the choreographers in a relaxed atmosphere with wine and water.

With showings by Aloali'i Tapuu, Tatiana Mejía, Ingjerd Solheim and Eng Kai Er.

Would you like to give an insight into your current rehearsal work at Probebühne Eins? Find the whole application here. Enquiries and applications until 15 January to tanzplan@kampnagel.de
