Dance for Young Audience: Pop Up

Lina Höhne | Teresa Hoffmann

An intergenerational dance piece for spectators 8 years and older

RE-MEMBER

We turn into a pack of dogs,
a bunch of caterpillars,
into a dark, dark lake
and into gusts of wind.

For the re-member team, made up of people from different generations, the starting point of togetherness is a physical confrontation with fear and trust. The performers share their insecurities with each other and allow themselves to be vulnerable together. They encounter their loneliness. They transform themselves in order to enter into a relationship with other beings and things – for protection, to expand, to remember a connection.

artistic direction: Teresa Hoffmann & Lina Höhne
musical direction: Christine Börsch Supan
dramaturgy: Claude Jansen
dance and co-creation: Natascha Golubtsova, Teresa Hoffmann, Ume Horikoshi, Clara Müller & Kadysha N`Diaye
stage: Stefan Pinl

Lina Höhne

Teresa Hoffmann

first studied psychology in Würzburg and New York, then performance studies in Hamburg. She works as a dancer, choreographer and dance mediator. Since 2016, she has mainly focussed on producing dance pieces for and sometimes with young people. For her, the relationship and difference between the worlds of adults and children is paradigmatic of her interest in being confronted with ways of thinking, moving and feeling that she has forgotten or forgotten as an adult. The encounter of strangers of different ages and abilities is a mirror for the fine threads that connect them and for the creative power that lies hidden in these unusual connections.
