This workshop offers a practical introduction to the approach of Participatory Art Based Research as developed in Hamburg between art, academia and society. We will discuss individual formats of this research, play with their practical application and attempt to transfer them to the individual practices of the workshop participants.

works as a choreographer at venues such as Kampnagel, Tanzhaus NRW, Luzerner Theater, Festival Tokyo and Corpus/Royal Danish Ballet. He received his doctorate from the HafenCity University Hamburg and developed his artistic-academic research practice as an associated K3 artist as part of the Assembly and Participation post-graduate program.
