Dance for Young Audience: Pop Up
(Kollektiv) Chiara Bersani | Marco D’Agostin
HAPPY TOGETHER
To prepare for their next piece, The Olympic Games (premiering in the context of the K3 anniversary festival, Together Apart, March 2017), the choreographers Marco D’Agostin and Chiara Bersani are offering a second workshop for young adults interested in dance. Participants have the opportunity to take part in further workshops and then possibly dance in the piece. On the basis of the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games, dances will be developed that play with synchronicity, rhythm and surprises.
Chiara Bersani works in the field of visual and performance art. As a performer, she has worked e.g. with Alessandro Sciarroni, Jérôme Bel and Riccardo Buscarini. Due to a moderately severe form of osteogenesis imperfecta, also known as brittle-bone syndrome, she is interested in the political significance of bodies.
Marco D’Agostin is active in the fields of dance, theater and film. As a dancer and performer, he has worked with Alessandro Sciarroni, Tabea Martin and Giorgia Nardin. Since 2010, he has been developing his own works; they tour internationally. Viola (2010) and Everything is ok (2015) were selected for the Aerowaves’ "Priority Companies" list in 2011 and 2016.
