IN THE FOREST THERE IS

In the beginning there was fear.
Fear of the beginning, fear of the unknown, fear of the fear. Fear as a mundane and archaic state. Can we share this diverse, well known, and extremely personal feeling? Can we shape landscapes out of this, for our visual nerves and imagination to sweep harmoniously?
In The Forest There Is attempts to use comforting and exhilarating poetry to find pleasure in contemporary fears, so that for once, for one evening, we can tolerate the dark forest of human fear together.

Starting point of their investigations is the body in all its materiality. Often characterized by specific and intense physicalities and formal reduction their work aims for unpredictable or absurd readings and imaginations within ostensible prospects. The K3-Residency 2016/17 is a special format for an artistic team/collective.
