The training is physical and energetic. It evolves from pure bodywork and strength exercises to sequences with an emphasis on expansive movements and floor work. A fundamental aspect of the training is to analyze the logic of each movement sequence in order to increase both energy efficiency and impact. The point is not to move in a certain style, but to investigate and optimize the processes in one’s own body in order to create availability for choreographic decisions and individual interpretation.

Michael Löhr
He has worked with companies and artists such as Emanuel Gat Dance, Tanzcompagnie Oldenburg, Tanztheater Bielefeld, Eun-Me Ahn, Awir Leon, Darko Dragicevic and Patrick Mason. He is a founding member of the collective Something Machine and taught at Candoco Dance Company, Ballet de Lorraine, NOD, Scottish Dance Theatre, Tanzhaus NRW among others.
