EXPLORE DANCE TANZPAKT STADT-LAND-BUND
SPLAAASH (10+)
The mobile pop-up piece Splaaash deals with the potential of overdrawing and exaggeration. Based on comic worlds, onomatopoeia and the appearance of known and unknown superheroes* from sports, film and pop culture, the choreographer duo Rykena/Jüngst combines language, sound and movement to create a humorously illustrative piece that asks how we tell stories through our bodies and which superheroes* we would design if we could choose. Bodies create imaginative images of transformation and dance through a course of apocalyptic doomsday scenarios, marble landscapes, and whimsical urban comics.
choreography, dance: Lisa Rykena, Carolin Jüngst
sound, stage design: Raphaela Andrade
