HOW TO DANCE RADICAL
Let's get back to the roots and back together! In How to Dance Radical, choreographer Fernanda Ortiz invites participants to explore the subversive potential of movement and try out alternative ways of approaching routine movements and encounters in everyday life.
Based on mundane everyday movements and on Fernanda Ortiz's dance project Radical Dance Series, participants will develop their own movement material. Inspired by the Latin word "radix", the root, the Radical Dance Project Series addresses the origin of its idea of radicalism by standing, walking, sitting and even lying down together. Partcipants will test out their newly developed movement material in spontaneous dance interventions in the Pegola quarter and on the Kampnagel grounds.
Please note: The course will take place outside!
