PARTICULARITIES OF MOVING
The purpose of the class is to develop high sensitivity, perceptual and performative, towards the particularities of movement. These particularities concern the place from which movement emerges and in which it resonates (whether it is an actual spatial location or an abstract motive), the time and timing of movement and precise measurements of resistance while moving. During the class, we will deepen into these subjects and their inter-relations by following improvisational tasks and working on constructed movement material, separately and simultaneously. As a result, we will individualize movement; enhance our ability to feel while moving and utilize it to make performative choices in regards to timing, speed and intensity of moving.
