Carolin Jüngst | Lisa Rykena
Based on the mythological figure of the siren, Arie/Elle examines the imaginary, physical and communicative dimensions and relationships of body and voice: hybrid sound-body and paradoxical creature, sounds that form in the body, emerging and dying away again – constantly telling new stories in the process. The voice grows out of the body, reaching beyond and thus redefining it: an image remains, only to vanish again.
