In Unforgettable, Hamburg-based Argentinian choreographer Fernanda Ortiz invites participants to test strategies of connecting their own (dance) biography to collective history. With the help of narratives, interviews, personal memories and objects contributed by the participants, the group will develop chorographic material that deals with personal (dance) experience and its social and cultural implications. In a final showing on the last day of the project, a wider audience has the chance to share in the resulting material. The course is part of the choreographic research associated with the piece Unforgettable (premiere June 2018).
