FRANZISKA HENSCHEL, JungerTanzHamburg
FÜHLENDE FISCHE - DANCING THEATRE FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS FROM AGE 6“When I’m angry then it’s in my belly and wants to go up – but there is a gate in my neck and then it goes back down again. That’s why I get a belly ache.“ (Marla, age 6)
„It feels like: ‘And now it’s raining as well!’“ (Simon, age 38)
Where do feelings come from and in what parts of our bodies do we sense them? Can they be mixed together like colours and what is the result when we do? What is the difference between a feeling and a thought?
With her team, Franziska Henschel traces the trail of feelings to find out whether there is a language that allows us to express the differences or similarities between happiness and sorrow. Text and dance produce a celebration of colours, in which anger and fear have an equal role to play.
