Exhausting Dance is a contemporary dance training that emphasizes the understanding of physical concepts such as centers of gravity, balance, weight transfer, and muscular effort through techniques like Release, handstand exercises, floor work, and partner practice. From a somatic perspective, the workshop aims to foster an understanding of functional mechanisms within the body.

Marino Ariza

is an artist with a strong focus on dance creation. He currently teaches contemporary dance at the Contemporary Dance School of Hamburg and took part in the Bottom Up Dance School, co-produced by Kampnagel and K3 Tanzplan Hamburg. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts with a focus on dance from Universidad Javeriana in Colombia. His expertise spans contemporary dance, traditional Colombian dance, and urban dance, with professional experience as a dancer and choreographer for companies such as Fox, Nickelodeon, and Disney+. In Colombia, he co-directed the traditional dance company Tributo Pisabarro for two years. He also co-directed Colectivo Penitente, an interdisciplinary collective focused on research residencies with young artists.
