EINBLICKE IN ZEITGENÖSSISCHES TANZTRAINING
K3 has been offering dance training for professional dance makers since 2007 with weekly rotating international teachers. In this course, five dance teachers (Judith Sánchez-Ruíz, Victoria Hauke, Eva-Maria Schaller, Ursina Tossi, Cristina Leitão) provide participants both with or without prior dance experience the chance to try out various techniques and methods of contemporary dance training.
This course will be in english and in german

studied dance in Arnheim, worked for Gabriella Maiorino as dancer and choreographical assistant. She teaches Flying Low in Codarts, Dansateliers Rotterdam, Marameo, etc.Eva-Maria Schaller
Eva-Maria Schaller is a Vienna-based dancer, teacher and choreographer. Through her choreographic work she engages deeply in the field of dance heritage / history / un-archiving and transmission. In her dance practice she further explores the connection between movement and voice in order to touch on notions of expressivity, emotion and a narrative body. She has been teaching Countertechnique since 2016 across Europe.
Judith Sánchez Ruíz
The Berlin–based director, choreographer, improviser and teacher Judith Sánchez Ruíz was based in New York since 1999 and relocated to Berlin in 2011. Worked with Trisha Brown Dance Company, David Zambrano, DD Dorvillier, Deborah Hay, Sasha Waltz & Guest among others. Her works have been presented internationally in theaters, festivals, museums and galleries. She regularly teaches workshops throughout Europe and the US.
Ursina Tossi
Dance artist, combines current political themes with intense physicality. Boundaries and concepts in relation to gender, animality and technology are bound together. She studied dance and philosophy and completed the MA of Choreography at the ArtEZ in Arnhem. Since 2010 she is part of Treffen Total and teaches contemporary dance and choreography (in the MA Performance Studies and at the CDSH in Hamburg).

Victoria Hauke
is interested in the ever-new connections of the body's physical emotionality and its environment. Energetic, somatic and sensory benefits and the interest in shifting aspects of perception of the viewer are important aspects of her work. She created about 50 pieces and installations since 1993 and is teaching in various dance and intermedia study programs, nationally and internationally.Dates
